Using RateWare XL tariff rates

Using RateWare XL tariff rates

Supply Chain Guru X supports RateWare XL from SMC3 for obtaining tariff rates. These rates are based on origin, destination and weight of shipments, and the freight class of products. You must set up an account with SMC3 and indicate that you are calling RateWare XL from within Supply Chain Guru X from Coupa.

You must have a valid internet connection to connect to RateWare XL.

The following steps describe the process for using RateWare XL tariff rates:

Enter RateWare XL credentials in Rate Data.
Populate the Shipping Rates table with records from Transportation Policies or Shipments or both.
Calculate the rates for the Shipping Rates records based on a specific tariff table and tariff effective date. The Shipping Rates table now acts as a cache of rating data, so that you do not need to call RateWare XL every time you want to populate rates.
Populate costs using shipping rates in the appropriate column in Transportation Policies or Shipments or both, using the values in the Shipping Rates table.
