Create an app automatically from a connection

1. On the Navigation toolbar, select Layout Designer .
2. Create a new project or select an existing project.
3. Click and choose Create From Database.
4. In the Create From Database dialog box, provide information or make a selection for the following:
   • Name — type a name for the app board.
   • Comments — type notes or a description of the app board.
   • Theme — choose a theme.
   • Connection — specify a connection.
   • Tables — select the tables that you want to include in the app.
5. Select any of the following check boxes to turn on the associated options:
   • Use Parent Relationships As Filters
   • Denormalize Schema
   • Create Simple App Boards
   • Show Detailed Widgets
   • Show Time Based Charts
   • Show Primary Key Fields
6. Click OK.

   The app is displayed in the project and automatically selected.

7. Click Save.
