Data Guru

Data Guru is a powerful application to collect, aggregate and otherwise manipulate data from most commonly used data formats. A number of predefined transformations are provided with Supply Chain Guru X as described in Model transformations.

You can also add Data Guru projects for use as Data Guru tools within Supply Chain Guru X. For example, you may want to set up a project to compare data in Supply Chain Guru X model tables. For additional information, refer to:

In addition, you can connect your Supply Chain Guru X model to a Data Guru project, as described in Data Guru connection to a model database.

Supply Chain Guru X version 42.0.0 is compatible with Data Guru version 42.0.0.

Special considerations for Microsoft Access use

If you have Microsoft Office 32-bit installed, you may encounter issues with Data Guru projects. With Microsoft Office 32-bit, Data Guru opens as a 32-bit application to ensure the Access database connection will work. However, you may encounter "Out of Memory" issues with the 32-bit version of Data Guru.

Supply Chain Guru X is available as a 64-bit application only. Data Guru projects run from Supply Chain Guru X will be 64-bit.

Resolve the issue with 32-bit Microsoft Access:

With Microsoft Office 32-bit installed (for example MS Office 2016 32-bit), download and install the Microsoft Access 2013 64-bit runtime.
When the installation is complete, run Data Guru 64 bit and connect to an Access database. The Access database is now successfully connected to Data Guru 64-bit, even though the 32-bit version of Access is installed. Data Guru checks the database engine driver and can use the 64-bit runtime version to connect.
