A new home for the Coupa Supply Chain documentation

Summary prescriptive insights

The Summary Prescriptive Insights dashboard provides a high level summary of the results of the prescriptions for your model and the selected scenario. You can access this dashboard from the Prescriptive Insights Summary tab.

From the Supply Chain Prescriptions home page, find the project you need.
From the project card, select Open.
The Summary Prescriptive Insight dashboard opens.
Select a scenario to use from the Scenario field at the top of the page. The most recently used scenario is selected by default.
Review the results on the Prescriptive Insights Summary dashboard.
- You can hover over a chart element to see the precise value for that element.

Prescriptive Insights Summary dashboard

Visualization	Description
Scenario selection	Use the button at the top of the page to select the scenario to review.
Potential Savings	This shows the total potential savings if all prescriptions are accepted.
Total Prescriptions	This shows the total number of prescriptions of all types.
Accepted Prescription Potential Savings	This shows the total savings resulting from the accepted prescriptions. This will only appear when prescriptions have been accepted.
Accepted Prescriptions	This shows the number of accepted prescriptions of all types. This will only appear when prescriptions have been accepted.
Node Skipping	This card shows the number of Node Skipping prescriptions. Select this card to access the Node Skipping page.
Mode Switching	This card shows the number of Mode Switching prescriptions. Select this card to access the Mode Switching page.
Volume Consolidation	This card shows the number of Volume Consolidation prescriptions. Select this card access to the Volume Consolidation page.
Potential Savings by Prescription type	This chart shows the amount of potential transportation and in-transit inventory savings by the type of prescription. Hovering over a segment of the chart will display the amount of savings for that prescription type and cost type.
Insights on Potential Savings	This chart shows the range of potential savings by type of prescription. Hovering over a segment of the chart will display the amount of savings for that prescription type and range.
Top 10 Network Factors Increasing and Decreasing <Business Objective>	This color coded chart shows the top network factors increasing and decreasing costs and the amount of the influence of each factor for the selected scenario. Hovering over a bar shows the amount of influence for that factor. The <Business Objective> displayed is determined by the Business Objective selected in the Run Options when you generate your prescriptions.
Top 10 Prescriptions by Potential Savings Identified	This table shows the prescriptions with the most potential savings. The table includes the Prescription Type, Potential Savings, Prescribed Source and Destination locations, and the Prescribed Mode of transportation. By default, the table is sorted by Potential Savings, from high to low. You can sort the table by any column.
