Node Skipping prescriptions
The Node Skipping page provides detailed results of the Node Skipping prescriptions for your model and the selected scenario. You can access this page from the Prescriptive Insights Node Skipping tab , or from the Node Skipping card on the Prescription Summary tab
.
- From the Supply Chain Prescriptions home page, find the project you need.
- From the project card, select Open.
The Summary Prescriptive Insight dashboard opens.
- If necessary, select a scenario to use from the Scenario field at the top of the page. The most recently used scenario is selected by default.
- Select the Node Skipping tab
from the navigation toolbar, or the Node Skipping card on the Summary page.
The Node Skipping page opens.
- Review the prescriptions listed on the grid.

Scenario selection | Use this field at the top of the page to select the scenario to review. |
Potential Savings | This value is the total potential savings based on Node Skipping over all the prescriptions. |
Prescriptions | The number of Node Skipping prescriptions. |
Accepted Potential Savings | This value is the total savings created by the accepted prescriptions. If no prescriptions have been selected, this value is zero. |
Accepted Prescriptions | The number of Node Skipping prescriptions that have been accepted. |
Set Status | Select this button to change the status of selected prescriptions. Prescriptions can be Accepted or Unreviewed, depending on their existing status. |
Set Rejection Criteria | Select this button to create filters for rejecting prescriptions. These criteria are used by the Prescription engine the next time it is run to create more appropriate prescriptions. |
Clear Filters | Use this button to remove any filters that have been set on the grid. |
Export to Excel | Use this button to export prescriptions to Microsoft Excel. |

Checkbox | Select in a prescriptions checkbox to select the prescription. |
ID | The unique ID for the prescription. Select a prescription's ID to see a detailed dashboard for the prescription. |
Status | This indicates whether the prescription has been accepted, rejected, or has not yet been evaluated (reviewed). |
Rank | The rank of the Node Skipping prescription. The lower the Rank number, the larger the effect of the prescription. |
Prescribed Source | The location where the prescription suggests the product should be sourced. |
Prescribed Destination | The location where the prescription suggests the product should be sent. |
Prescribed Mode | The prescribed method of transport for the product. |
Total Potential Savings | The total amount of savings resulting from the prescription. This includes Transportation Cost Savings and In-Transit Inventory Cost Savings. |
Quantity | This number of units (the flow quantity) for the prescription. |
Weight | The flow weight for the prescription. |
Volume | The flow volume for the prescription. |
Total Transportation Cost Savings | The amount of savings from transportation costs for the prescription. |
Total In-Transit Inventory Cost Savings | The amount of savings from in-transit inventory costs for the prescription. |
Prescription Detail | A short summary of the change recommended by the prescription. |
