Supply Chain Guru models
Modeler provides a number of features for working with models, including creating new models, duplicating models and Sharing models with other users.
You can also upload Supply Chain Guru models (.scgm files) or Supply Chain Guru 8.4.x models (.mdf files). Once the models are uploaded to Modeler, you can populate and edit table data, run scenarios using the various solvers and review the output in tables and maps. You can download models from Modeler to the desktop applications. For additional information, refer to Supply Chain Guru models.
If you have data populated in a Decision Data Model database, the Model Building workflow provides a quick start for modeling. It enables repeatability and faster model building using the most current DDM data. The current Model Building implementation supports Greenfield Analysis and basic Network Optimization distribution models.
Please note: Do not adjust the model database schemas. Specifically, do not adjust anything in the outputtemp and outputtempARCH schemas. These are reserved and should not be used for any other purposes in the creation or processing of models and other assets on the platform.

. A new browser tab is opened with the Data Management Upload flyout.
- In the Upload flyout, browse to select the asset you want to upload and click Open.
-
You can optionally:
-
Change the Asset Name for the uploaded asset.

-
Click the progress link to display the Uploads in Progress. Each active upload is listed, with its progress. There are two phases to the upload process. The first is the physical upload of the data to the platform. The second is the processing of the uploaded data based on the asset type. You can review the second phase of the upload on the Tasks tab in Queue Management. The task Name is "Upload Direct Processor".

For larger files, you may want to pause the physical upload based on current system resources for example. Click the pause button
to pause. The upload retains the progress so far. Click the resume button

Upgrading models
If any model on the landing page requires an upgrade to the current model database format, it will display an "Upgrade Required" tag.

- Select the model you want to upgrade. The Upgrade Model fly out is displayed.
- Click OK. While the model is being upgraded, you cannot perform any other action on the model.
