Installing the Edit in Excel plugin

The Edit in Excel plugin enables you to update grid data using the default spreadsheet application on your machine.

  • The plugin is available for Windows only. Also, your machine must have a spreadsheet application associated with the XLS and XLSX file types.
  • You must have administrator privileges on your machine to install the plugin.
  1. On the LLamasoft Downloads page of Coupa Compass, select Edit in Excel R37.

    An installer application named Edit in Excel R37.Msi is downloaded to your machine.

  2. Run Edit in Excel R37.Msi.

    The setup wizard is displayed.

  3. Click Next.
  4. Read the license agreement, and select the I accept the terms in the License Agreement check box.
  5. Click Next.
  6. On the Choose Setup Type page, select one of the following:
    • Typical — install the DG Project Plugin and the Edit In Excel plugin.
    • Custom — specify which plugins to install.
    • Complete — install all of the editing plugins.
  7. Click Install.
  8. If a dialog box is displayed asking if you want to allow the installer to make changes on your machine, select Yes.

    The plugins are installed.

  9. Click Finish to close the installer.
  1. Access the Windows Control Panel.
  2. Open the Add or Remove Programs or Installed Apps item.
  3. In the list of installed programs, select App Builder Plugins.
  4. Click Uninstall.

    A dialog box is displayed asking if you're sure that you want to uninstall the plugins.

  5. Click Yes.
  6. If a dialog box is displayed asking if you want to allow the installer to make changes on your machine, select Yes.

    The plugin is uninstalled.
