The identifier of the network path generated by Cost To Serve Analysis.

Start Product

Internal Name: StartProduct

The name of the product that the customer is served on this network path.

Finished Good

Table: OutputPathsSummary

Internal Name: FinishedGood

The name of the final product that the customer is served on the last lane of this network path.

Start Site

Internal Name: StartSite

The source location for the path.

Customer Name

Internal Name: CustomerName

The name of the customer being served on this network path. In some cases, the Customer Name column can be populated with site names. If a site is displayed in the Customer Name column, this is an indication that this site had flow that never reached a customer. This can occur if flow ends up as inventory instead of being shipped to the customer.

Other Cost

Internal Name: OtherCost

This includes the following costs: Transportation Asset Cost, Expression Based Cost, Return Cost, Carbon Offset Cost, Tax Cost and Production Costs with no outbound flows. It also includes duty costs incurred based on entries in the Duty Rate and Tax And Duty Regions tables. Expansion costs, the Fixed Operating Space Expansion Cost from Sites and the Floor Expansion Cost from Site Storage Spaces and Site Shipping Spaces, are included. Costs that have "No path found" are also included in the Other Cost column. This can include costs such as Fixed Operating Cost that fails to be allocated to a path.

An example of the production costs is Site A makes 10 units of a product, but still has 10 units of that product in inventory at the end of the horizon. The production costs in this case are included in Other Cost .

Fixed Startup Cost

The one-time cost incurred for starting operations at the location. This includes both site and work center costs.

Fixed Operating Cost

The cost incurred handling product at the location. This includes both site and work center costs.

Closing Cost

The cost incurred when a location is closed. This includes both site and work center costs.

Site Variable Cost

This is the cost incurred for throughput units at the site regardless of the product, based on the Site Variable Cost and Site Variable Cost Basis defined in the Sites table.

Space Expansion Cost

The cost incurred at the site when the floor area allocated for spaces is expanded.

Production Cost

The cost incurred based on production.

Transportation Cost

Facility Inventory Holding Cost

Capital Investment

The total cost attributed to carbon emissions, based on the Carbon Cost from the Greenhouse Gases table, due to production.

Transportation CO2 Cost

Table: OutputPathsSummary

The cost attributed to carbon emissions, based on the Carbon Cost from the Greenhouse Gases table, due to InterSite Flows and Customer Flows.

Work Resources Cost

Internal Name: WorkResourcesCost

The cost from usage of work resources. This is the Fixed Resource Cost + Hourly Cost.

Duty Cost

Table: OutputPathsSummary

Internal Name: DutyCost

The cost incurred for duty levied on shipments based on the Duty Rate in the Transportation Policies input table. The Duty Rate is a percentage that is multiplied by the Unit Value in the Product table multiplied by the shipment quantity. This determines the Duty Cost.

Costs incurred using the Duty Rate and Tax And Duty Regions tables will be included as part of the Other Cost column.

Refundable Tax

This is the total refundable tax based on the flow of product for the network path.

Non-Refundable Tax

This is the total non-refundable tax based on the flow of product for the network path.

Demand Penalty

The penalty cost when total demand is not satisfied.

Service Distance

The distance between the start location and the end location.

Service Hours
