Cost To Route

Table: VRPOutputDeliveredShipments

Internal Name: CostToRoute

Only the delivery or pickup cost is removed from the total route cost, and the route is not reconstructed. For detailed information, refer to Cost to Route and Allocated Cost.

Distance-Based Allocated Cost

Table: VRPOutputDeliveredShipments

Internal Name: DistanceBasedAllocatedCost

Displays a distance-based allocated cost to route the shipment. It is an apportionment of the total cost of the route to each of its shipments based on each shipment’s travel distance. This is the allocated cost to route the shipment, weighting the shipment using the product of the shipment's quantity and its travel distance on the route. For example, assume you have three stops on a route. This is the cost to remove each stop one at a time, then allocate the fixed cost back to the shipment based on the quantity per shipment and its travel distance. For detailed information, refer to Cost to Route and Allocated Cost.

Time-Based Allocated Cost

Table: VRPOutputDeliveredShipments

Internal Name: TimeBasedAllocatedCost

Displays a time-based allocated cost to route the shipment. It is an apportionment of the total cost of the route to each of its shipments based on each shipment’s surface time. This is the allocated cost to route the shipment, weighting the shipment using the product of the shipment's quantity and its surface time (its travel time on the route combined with its load and unload time). For example, assume you have three stops on a route. This is the cost to remove each stop one at a time, then allocate the fixed cost back to the shipment based on the quantity per shipment and the time incurred. For detailed information, refer to Cost to Route and Allocated Cost.

  • Consider Direct Ship – Value between 0 and 1 using the ratio of the Cost to Route / Direct Shipping Cost.
  • Direct Ship – Value is 1, indicating that Direct Ship should be the mode.
Note: This field is hidden by default. You can display the field using Column Options.
