This output table provides customer-level metrics about the paths created by Cost To Serve, including path lengths, costs, revenue, and profit values.

The name of the customer being served on the network paths.

Total Paths

Table: OutputCostToServeCustomerSummary

Internal Name: TotalPath

The total number of network paths generated by Cost To Serve Analysis for this customer.

Max Path Length

Table: OutputCostToServeCustomerSummary

Internal Name: MaxPathLength

The maximum length of a network path for this customer based on the number of lanes (or arcs) that make up the path. A lane is defined for each movement from a source to destination, and when a product is held at a location for more than one period (each period the product is held is a lane).

Min Path Length

Internal Name: MinPathLength

The minimum length of a network path for this customer based on the number of lanes (or arcs) that make up the path. A lane is defined for each movement from a source to destination, and when a product is held at a location for more than one period (each period the product is held is a lane).

Average Path Length

Table: OutputCostToServeCustomerSummary

Internal Name: AveragePathLength

The average length of a network path for this customer based on the number of lanes (or arcs) that make up the path. A lane is defined for each movement from a source to destination, and when a product is held at a location for more than one period (each period the product is held is a lane).

Total Revenue

Table: OutputCostToServeCustomerSummary

Internal Name: TotalRevenue

The total revenue generated by product units shipped to the customer. This is the (sum of all product demand met) * (price per product)

Total Cost

Table: OutputCostToServeCustomerSummary

Internal Name: TotalCost

The total cost for the customer paths incurred after optimization. In addition to the various cost categories, such as Production Cost, Transportation Cost and others, the Site Variable Cost from the Sites table is included in the Total Cost value.

Total Profit

Table: OutputCostToServeCustomerSummary

Internal Name: TotalProfit

The total profit for the customer paths. This is Total Revenue - Total Cost.

Total Lane Cost

Table: OutputCostToServeCustomerSummary

Internal Name: TotalLaneCost

The total transportation cost incurred for all the lanes generated for the customer's network paths. This is the cost summed over:

InterSite Flows - Total Sourcing Cost, Total Inbound Warehousing Cost, Total Transportation Cost, CO2 Cost, Duty Cost, In Transit Inventory Holding Cost.
Customer Flows - Total Sourcing Cost, Total Outbound Warehousing Cost, Total Transportation Cost, CO2 Cost, Duty Cost, In Transit Inventory Holding Cost. This includes disposal flows (the destination/customer name is "Trash" and the mode name is "EXPIRED PRODUCT") and trash flows (the destination/customer name is "Trash" and the mode name is "UNUSED BYPRODUCT").
Return Flows - Total Return Cost, Total Inbound Warehousing Cost, Total Transportation Cost

Total Site Cost

Internal Name: TotalSiteCost

The total cost incurred for site-related activity for the customer's network paths, including operating cost, startup cost, and closing cost. This is the cost summed over:

Sites - Total Fixed Startup Cost, Total Fixed Operating Cost, Total Closing Cost, Site Variable Cost, Total Capital Investment, Total CO2 Cost.
Customers - Total Demand Penalty Cost.
Work Centers - Total Fixed Startup Cost, Total Fixed Operating Cost, Total Closing Cost.
Work Resources - Variable Cost.

Total Site Product Cost

Internal Name: TotalSiteProductCost

The total cost incurred for product-related activity at sites for the customer's network paths, including inventory holding cost and production cost. This is the cost summed over:

Production - Total Production Cost.
Inventory - Total Inv Holding Cost.

Total Other Cost

Table: OutputCostToServeCustomerSummary

Internal Name: TotalOtherCost

This includes the following costs: Transportation Asset Cost, Expression Based Cost, Return Cost, Carbon Offset Cost, and Production Costs with no outbound flows. It also includes duty costs incurred based on entries in the Duty Rate table. Expansion costs, the Fixed Operating Space Expansion Cost from Sites and the Floor Expansion Cost from Site Storage Spaces and Site Shipping Spaces, are included. Costs that have "No path found" are also included in the Other Cost column. This can include costs such as Fixed Operating Cost that fails to be allocated to a path.

An example of the production costs is Site A makes 10 units of a product, but still has 10 units of that product in inventory at the end of the horizon. The production costs in this case are included in Other Cost .

Total Flow Rate

Internal Name: TotalFlowRate

The Total Flow Rate is calculated as the total flow quantity (final product) / service time.

Total Revenue Rate

Internal Name: TotalRevenueRate

The Total Revenue Rate is calculated as the total revenue / service time. For additional information, see Cost to serve revenue and profit rates.

Total Profit Rate

Table: OutputCostToServeCustomerSummary

Internal Name: TotalProfitRate

The Total Revenue Rate is calculated as the total revenue / service time. For additional information, see Cost to serve revenue and profit rates.

Total Weighted Service Time

Table: OutputCostToServeCustomerSummary

Internal Name: TotalWeightedServiceTime

The Total Weighted Service Time is calculated as (path1 service time * path1 revenue / total revenue) + (path2 service time * path2 revenue / total revenue) + ... (pathn service time * pathn revenue / total revenue). For additional information, see Cost to serve revenue and profit rates.

The identifier of the scenario for which the output data was generated.

Sub-Scenario ID
