Modeling customers

Customers are nodes in the supply chain network. Customers are typically the locations that demand product and to which products are delivered based on the sourcing and transportation policies in a standard flow.

Customer elements

The primary elements for customer definitions are:

• Name. The name of the customer.
• Status. The status of the customer determines its inclusion in any model optimization or simulation calculations.
  • Include. The customer is included in simulation or optimization by default.
  • Exclude. The customer is not included in simulation or optimization by default.
