Task 1: Generate the recipe workspace tables
Your first task is to edit the existing Network Optimization recipe and opt in to creating the recipe workspace tables. This task uses the recipe you created in Quick Start: Create a Network Optimization model using Model Building.

Access Model Building.

Select your existing recipe (the suggested name in the quick start was "Network Opt United States Tutorial").

From the kebab menu, select Edit.

Select the Summary node in the navigation tree.

Turn on the Generate Recipe Workspace Tables switch. You see a list of the table names that will be created when you run the recipe. tables are created for each of the Core Elements selected.

Click Save and Close.

With the same recipe selected, select Run from the kebab menu.

In the Run Recipe flyout, enter the name for your model, such as "NO United States Model" and click OK. The recipe starts running.

In Queue Management, select the Tasks tab. When the recipe has finished running, the Status is "Complete".
You are now ready to create a macro using the Insert action to populate a table in your model.
