USA & Canada LTL Transit Times

The USA & Canada LTL Transit Times by SMC3 web service returns carrier-specific published transit times in days for both the USA and Canada. You can enter 5-digit postal codes for the United States and 6-character postal codes for Canada. In some cases, these reported transit times are based on the day of the week. This data is provided by the SMC3 CarrierConnect XL API.

To use the USA & Canada LTL Transit Times web service:

1. On the Data Services main page, select USA & Canada LTL Transit Times from the Transportation Transit Times/Distances drop-down.
2. Select the Carrier. This is the Standard Carrier Alpha Code used to identify the carrier.
3. Enter the 5-digit postal code for Origin Postal Code for locations in the United States or Mexico. If you are entering a location in Canada, enter the 6-character postal code.
4. Select the Origin Country.
5. Enter the 5-digit postal code for Destination Postal Code for locations in the United States or Mexico. If you are entering a location in Canada, enter the 6-character postal code.
6. Select the Destination Country.
   
7. Click Add to add a new record and populate the values as defined in the previous steps.
8. When all records are defined, click Get Results .

The results retrieved by the web service call are downloaded in an Excel file, which when opened is similar to the following:

The results include all rows that match the criteria selected, regardless of whether all the columns in a given row include a value.
