Global Ocean Benchmark Rates
The Global Ocean Benchmark Rates by Xeneta web service returns an estimated port to port tariff by equipment type. Rates include all surcharges. You can adjust the estimated rate with a discount Adjustment Factor.
Approximately 97% of global container tariffs move under confidential service contracts. In some cases, carrier tariff rates are a good indication of spot market pricing; in other cases, they are "paper" rates, which are simply a high-level placeholder to satisfy regulatory requirements to publish a rate.
