Views
Views allow you to pull data from one or more tables and display in a custom format. You can customize your views as described in Defining views.
Adding and deleting views

- Select Analyze > Views.
- Click New Custom View. A new view is created and opened. The default name is View (n), where n is an incrementing number.
- Edit the view name as required using the
edit function.
Once the view has been created, you can customize it as described in Defining views.

- Select Analyze > Views.
- Select the view name or thumbnail in the navigation pane.
- Click Delete
. You are asked to confirm the deletion.
- Click Yes. The view is deleted.

- Select Analyze > Views.
- Select the view name in the navigation pane.
- Click Copy
. The view is copied with a default name of <ViewName> (n), where n is an incrementing number.
Searching views
You can search within the list of view names using the views filter. Start typing in the views filter. View names that contain the characters are displayed in the list box.
Wildcards are not required. View names containing the search characters are displayed, regardless of where in the view name the characters are located.

You can set the views navigation pane to show view names or thumbnails of the actual views.
- Select Analyze > Views.
- At the top of the Views navigation pane, use
to select one of:
- Standard – View names are listed in the navigation pane.
- Thumbnail – Thumbnails of views are listed in the navigation pane.
You can drag and drop the view names or thumbnails to change the order in which they are displayed in the navigation pane.
