Using model history
The model history tool lets you create, restore and delete backups using the following functions:

- Select Model > Model History.
- Click Create Backup. You are prompted to enter a Backup Name and an optional Backup Description. The default Backup Name is “New Backup (x)” where x is an incrementing number.
- Enter a Backup Name and, optionally, a Backup Description.
- Click Save. You see the Description listed in the Creation Event column
Once a backup has been created, you can restore the model to that state using Restore.
Restore

Backups are stored in one or more .scgb files. If the backup is in the older .scgb.1 file, you are warned that more recent backups will be deleted in order to successfully restore the older backup.

- Click Yes to load the model data from the backup. If there are unsaved changes in the current model data, you are prompted to save changes, discard changes or cancel the action.
Delete Backups
Use this function to delete the current backup file.

- Select Model > Model History.
- Select a backup from the table on the form.
- Click Delete All Backups. You are prompted to confirm the delete.
