Using data tables

Data tables enable you to input, edit and view the data in your model database. Input Tables let you populate the information that is required for each of the solvers, as well as optional information that rounds out your supply chain design study.

Special characters in input data can cause issues when solving scenarios. Coupa recommends that you avoid using the single quote (') and double quote (") characters in your input data. For Transportation Optimization, the single quote character (') in Sites, Customers, Transportation Assets or Shipment Names can cause issues when solving the model. If this character is detected, an error is displayed in the Run Log and you must remove the character from the input in order to solve the model.

In addition to entering and manipulating one record at a time, these tables provide tools to add, edit or delete multiple records simultaneously. You can control how data is displayed using filters and column sorting.

Select Build > Input Tables to access the Supply Chain Guru X input tables.

See Support for localized formats for information about entering numeric data in non-US regions.

Output Tables let you review the results generated when you run your model scenarios. For additional information, see Output tables.

Searching input tables

You can search within the list of input table names using the Search Input Tables field.

Search input tables

Start typing in the search input tables field. Table names that contain the characters are displayed in the list box.

Wildcards are not required. Table names containing the search characters are displayed, regardless of where in the table name the characters are located.
