Units and currency model settings
For Currencies and each measure type in Units Of Measure, you can specify what is the default currency or unit to use. These defaults can be overridden as needed when populating values in specific fields. If no currency or unit is appended to a value, the default will be used.
Do not delete the unit of measure record with the Name "Mile" from the Units Of Measure table. This unit of measure is required for internal distance calculations when running scenarios with the various technologies.

- Select Model
> Model Settings > Units and Currency.
- For the Currency and each measure type, select the value to use at the default from the drop-down list. The available settings and their initial defaults are:
Setting Initial default Currency USD - US Dollar Quantity EA - Each Weight LB - Pound Volume CFT - Cubic Foot Time DAY - Day Area SF - Square Foot Distance MI - Mile Speed MPH - Miles per Hour DOS DOS - Days of Supply
These settings cannot be controlled using Scenario Items.
- Click OK. You see a message asking if you want to clear output data. When you change the base currency or any of the base units of measure, this can result in a mismatch between the values displayed in the output tables and the current currency and unit of measure settings. Output is not converted when you make such a change.
- Click Clear Output to clear existing output or Keep Output to keep the output. If you click Keep Output, you are asked again to choose whether or not to clear the output.
- Click Clear Output to clear existing output or Keep Output to keep the output.
