Internal Table Name: Routes

Use the Routes table to define the routes that are to be included with driver scheduling.

When using driver scheduling with Transportation Optimization output, drivers are assigned to routes within the constraints defined for the driver class. If a driver cannot be assigned, the route is considered unscheduled.

Route ID

Enter the unique identifier of the route.

Asset Name

Internal Name: EquipmentType

Type: Short Text (100)

Enter the name of the asset that has been assigned to the route during Transportation Optimization. The Asset Name can limit which driver class is used based on the Allowed Assets defined for the driver class.

Start Date Time

Type: DateTime

Enter the start date and time for the route.

End Date Time

Enter the end date and time for the route.

Drive Time

Type: Short Text (100)

Enter the time spent driving incurred on the route. The Drive Time cannot exceed the value of End Date Time minus Start Date Time on the route (the route duration). Enter a value, then optionally select a time unit of measure. If you do not select a unit of measure, the default Time Unit Of Measure from Model Settings is used.

Total Distance

Enter the total distance incurred on the route. Enter a value, then optionally select a distance unit of measure. If you do not select a unit of measure, the default Distance Unit Of Measure from Model Settings is used.

Asset Origin

Internal Name: AssetOrigin

Type: Short Text (100)

Enter the site name specifying the origin of the asset that is assigned to the route.

Status

One of Include, Exclude.

Choose the route status:

  • Include - This route is included when the model is run.
  • Exclude - This route is excluded when the model is run.
