Periodic Optimization Inventory Details

Internal Table Name: VRPOutputPeriodicOptimizationInventoryDetails

The Periodic Optimization Inventory Details table provides information about the daily activity during the periodic horizon when using Transportation Daily Orders as input. The details include the allocated transportation cost and starting and ending inventory at the destination. In the case that there is ending inventory, the inventory holding cost is also reported.

Scenario

Table: VRPOutputPeriodicOptimizationInventoryDetails

Internal Name: Not Applicable (Scenario column not in table)

The scenario for which the output data was generated.

Source Name

Table: VRPOutputPeriodicOptimizationInventoryDetails

Internal Name: SourceName

The source of the transportation order.

Destination Name

Table: VRPOutputPeriodicOptimizationInventoryDetails

Internal Name: DestinationName

The destination of the transportation order.

Date

Table: VRPOutputPeriodicOptimizationInventoryDetails

Internal Name: Date

The date during the periodic horizon on which the activities occur.

Allocated Transportation Cost

Table: VRPOutputPeriodicOptimizationInventoryDetails

Internal Name: AllocatedTransportationCost

Displays an allocated cost to route the order from the source to the destination. For example, assume you have three stops on a route. This is the cost to remove each one at a time, then allocate the fixed cost back to the order based on its size.

The inventory held at the destination at the start of the date. The units are determined by the Periodic Schedule Inventory Holding Cost Basis and will be one of Quantity, Weight or Volume.

Ending Inventory

Table: VRPOutputPeriodicOptimizationInventoryDetails

Internal Name: EndInventory

The inventory held at the destination at the end of the date. Inventory holding cost is incurred on ending inventory. The units are determined by the Periodic Schedule Inventory Holding Cost Basis and will be one of Quantity, Weight or Volume.

Units Received

Table: VRPOutputPeriodicOptimizationInventoryDetails

Internal Name: UnitReceived

The units received at the destination on the date. The Units Received may not match the Units Consumed if it is more cost effective to hold inventory for Transportation Daily Orders. The units are determined by the Periodic Schedule Inventory Holding Cost Basis and will be one of Quantity, Weight or Volume.

Units Consumed

Table: VRPOutputPeriodicOptimizationInventoryDetails

Internal Name: UnitConsumed

The units consumed at the destination on the date. This is the number of units ordered for that date. The units are determined by the Periodic Schedule Inventory Holding Cost Basis and will be one of Quantity, Weight or Volume.
