PC*Miler

PC*Miler provides accurate distance and transit time values, detailed routing and geocoding for regions around the world. It can be used for geocoding, road distance calculations, and route calculation. You must purchase, install and license PC*Miler for it to be available to Supply Chain Guru X.

Setting up PC*Miler

• You must have the PC*Miler Server installed on a system that is accessible using a network share with full access from the system with Supply Chain Guru X.
• PC*Miler Connect must be installed on the system with Supply Chain Guru X.
• PC*Miler is not available as a provider if PC*Miler Connect is not installed the system with Supply Chain Guru X or if all licenses for PC*Miler are already in use when you start Supply Chain Guru X.
• Supply Chain Guru X will recognize which version of PC*Miler is "connected" based on the version of PC*Miler selected in PC*Miler Connect. For example, if PC*Miler 26 is selected in PC*Miler Connect, this is the version that Supply Chain Guru X will use.

Notes about PC*Miler

• PC*Miler North America is very good at geocoding sites in the United States and Canada.
• PC*Miler can geocode to the address level within combinations of City, State, and Country, or Postal Code. It will use the most specific value provided.
