Order Report

Internal Table Name: SimulationOutputOrderReport

This report displays details about each order processed. The information includes the source and destination sites, product, order number and original order date. It reports each change in quantity filled, quantity previously filled and quantity on backorder including the 'date' of the change in the model. Quantity Filled + Quantity Previously Filled + Quantity Backordered will always equal Original Order Quantity. This table only reports the processing of an order - it does not report whether an item is shipped or not. Records are populated in this table if the Order Transactions option is checked on the Detailed Output tab of Simulation Options.

Scenario

Table: SimulationOutputOrderReport

Internal Name: Not Applicable (Scenario column not in table)

Displays the name of the scenario which generated the order report data.

Order Processed Date

Table: SimulationOutputOrderReport

Internal Name: OrderProcessedDate

Displays the date when the state of the order is changed based on change in value in Quantity Filled, Quantity Previously Filled or Quantity Backordered.

Source Site

Table: SimulationOutputOrderReport

Internal Name: SourceSite

Displays the name of the Source Site of the order.

Destination Site

Table: SimulationOutputOrderReport

Internal Name: DestinationSite

Displays the name of the Destination Site of the order.

Product Name

Table: SimulationOutputOrderReport

Internal Name: ProductName

Displays the name of the Product that was on this order.

Order Created Date

Table: SimulationOutputOrderReport

Internal Name: OrderCreatedDate

Displays the date on which the order was created. From the Demand or Shipment tables, this is the Order Time or Order Time Formula and the Demand Frequency or Shipment Frequency. For replenishments, it is the time a replenishment was created.

Order Due Date

Table: SimulationOutputOrderReport

Internal Name: OrderDueDate

Displays the original due date for the order to reach its destination. If no due date is entered, the end of the model horizon is considered the due date and this field is blank.

Internal Tracking ID

Table: SimulationOutputOrderReport

Internal Name: InternalTrackingID

Displays the unique tracking number generated by Simulation.

User Defined Tracking ID

Table: SimulationOutputOrderReport

Internal Name: UserDefinedTrackingID

Displays the Tracking ID entered on the Customer Demand, Customer Orders, Site Demand, Site Orders, or Shipments table.

If Cancel If Late is set to Yes is set in the Demand or Orders table, the order will be canceled if it is late at the moment of order processing; this is determined at the site that ships to the customer. If the time of order processing is greater than the Due Date, any balance on the order will be dropped. If at the time of order processing, there is still time remaining until the Due Date, the order will be processed including manufacture and shipment even if those events might cause the order to arrive after the Due Date. This process is analogous to an order clerk comparing the Due Date to the current time and deleting the order if it is already past the Due Date; otherwise it’s passed to manufacturing and/or shipping.

Orders that have a portion canceled are noted in the Order Report Simulation Output table. At the time of cancellation, the User Defined Tracking ID value is appended with the term ‘Canceled’ and the amount canceled is noted in the Backorder Quantity field. The quantity and value of items canceled are also recorded in the Customer Product Summary Simulation Output table in the Lost Demand and Lost Revenue columns. These values are summed in the Customer Summary Simulation Output table. In addition, the quantity and value canceled are recorded in the Site Product Summary Simulation Output table in the Lost Downstream Demand and Lost Downstream Demand Revenue columns. This information is only recorded for the customer-facing site that is the originally chosen fulfillment location for the order. Finally, the network total quantity and value canceled are summed in the Network Summary Simulation Output table in the Lost Demand and Lost Revenue columns.

If you have populated Shelf Life for products, the User Defined Tracking ID value is appended with the term ‘Expiry Replenishment’ if the product on this order has reached its shelf life.
