Logging Options

Log to File: Output the simulation log file as seen in the status window to a file - either in the same folder as the model itself or in a custom location. To set this value in a scenario, select the “Log to file” Simulation Options field and select "Yes" as the value.

Use Log File Name From Model: When this option is selected and Log to File is selected, the log file will have the same name as the current model. For example, if the model name is SimProduction_01, the log file will be SimProduction_01.log. To set this value in a scenario, select the “Use log file name from model” Simulation Options field and select "Yes" as the value.

Use a Custom Log File Name: When this option is selected and Log to File is selected, the log file will have the name you specify in the field below the setting. To set this value in a scenario, select the “Use a custom log file name” Simulation Options field and select "Yes" as the value, then select the “Log File Name” field and enter the name of the custom log file.

Log File Name: When Use A Custom Log File Name is selected, you provide the name of the log file. To set this value in a scenario, select the “Log File Name” Simulation Options field and enter the log file path and name.
