Use of the inventory policies review period

Inventory position at a site is reviewed at the Review Period specified in the Inventory Policies table. This can be a continuous review, providing the best response time, or at specific time intervals. These intervals can be hourly, daily, weekly or a defined number of hours, days, weeks, etc. It is used to calculate the Immediate Lead Time and Max Lead Time in the Inventory Policy Details output table and the Coverage in the Inventory Policy Summary output table. The Review Period also serves as an input to the periodic review order up to level (T, S) policy.
