Greenfield Site Summary

Internal Table Name: OptimizationOutputGreenfieldDCs

This table displays a record for each Greenfield Site. It includes new greenfield sites and existing sites used in the Greenfield Analysis.

Internal Name: Not Applicable (Scenario column not in table)

The scenario for which the summary data was generated.

Greenfield Site

Internal Name: GreenfieldFacility

The name of the site used as a Greenfield location. If the location was generated by the Greenfield algorithm, the name is Greenfield_DC_X_Y_Z, where:

  • X is an incremented number for each site created within the (sub-)scenario
  • Y is the scenario ID of the Greenfield Site
  • Z is the sub-scenario ID of the Greenfield Site.

If the location was an Existing Site, the name of that Site is displayed.

Greenfield Latitude

Internal Name: Latitude

The optimal latitude used to place a site to minimize weighted distance (flow x distance) to customers.

Greenfield Longitude

Internal Name: Longitude

The optimal longitude used to place a site to minimize weighted distance (flow x distance) to customers.

Closest City Latitude

Table: OptimizationOutputGreenfieldDCs

Internal Name: ClosestLatitude

The latitude of the city, based on a search of the Geodata.db database, that is closest to the Greenfield Latitude.

Closest City Longitude

Table: OptimizationOutputGreenfieldDCs

Internal Name: ClosestLongitude

The longitude of the city, based on a search of the Geodata.db database, that is closest to the Greenfield Longitude.

Distance

Table: OptimizationOutputGreenfieldDCs

Internal Name: Distance

The total distance between the Calculated Latitude/ Longitude values and the Closest Latitude/Longitude, based on a straight line + circuity factor calculation.

City

Internal Name: City

The city found in the Geodata.db database search.

State

Internal Name: State

The state found in the Geodata.db database search.

Country

Table: OptimizationOutputGreenfieldDCs

Internal Name: Country

The country found in the Geodata.db database search.

Output Type

Internal Name: OutputType

This field displays the location option used to generate the Greenfield Site. This will be one of:

  • Greenfield Lat/Long
  • Closest City

Greenfield Status

Table: OptimizationOutputGreenfieldDCs

Internal Name: GreenfieldStatus

The status of the Greenfield Site based on its use in the Greenfield Flows table:

  • Open/Used – If the Greenfield Site exists in both the Greenfield Site Summary table and Greenfield Flows table.
  • Open/Not Used – If the Greenfield Site does not exist in both the Greenfield Site Summary table and Greenfield Flows table.

Throughput Level

Internal Name: ThroughputLevel

The throughput at the Greenfield Site, based on its use in the Greenfield Flows table:

  • Total sum of Flow Units for the site – If the Greenfield Site exists in both the Greenfield Site Summary table and the Greenfield Flows table.
  • 0 – If the Greenfield Site does not exist in both Greenfield Site Summary table and the Greenfield Flows table.

Scenario ID

Table: OptimizationOutputGreenfieldDCs

Internal Name: ScenarioID

The identifier of the scenario for which the summary data was generated.

Sub-Scenario ID

Table: OptimizationOutputGreenfieldDCs

Internal Name: StepNumber

The identifier of the sub-scenario, if applicable, for which the summary data was generated.
