Detailed Output
Transaction Data
Options on this tab enable you to control which output is populated when Simulation is complete. By default these options are not selected. In this case, Simulation will still populate the various summary tables, but not the detailed transaction tables controlled by these options. This will improve the overall run time of Simulation.
The Transaction Data options are:
- Demand Transactions – When this option is selected, the Demand Transactions output table is populated when Simulation is complete. When this option is not selected, no data is populated in the Demand Transactions table. To set this value in a scenario, select the “Demand Transactions” Simulation Options field and select "Yes" as the value.
- Shipment Transactions – When this option is selected, the Shipment Transactions output table is populated when Simulation is complete. When this option is not selected, no data is populated in the Shipment Transactions table. To set this value in a scenario, select the “Shipment Transactions” Simulation Options field and select "Yes" as the value.
- Production Transactions – When this option is selected, the Production Transactions output table is populated when Simulation is complete. When this option is not selected, no data is populated in the Production Transactions table. To set this value in a scenario, select the “Production Transactions” Simulation Options field andselect "Yes" as the value.
- Order Transactions – When this option is selected, the Order Report output table is populated when Simulation is complete. When this option is not selected, no data is populated in the Order Report table. To set this value in a scenario, select the “Order Transactions” Simulation Options field and select "Yes" as the value.
- Mileage Transactions – When this option is selected, the Shipment Mileage Log output table is populated when Simulation is complete. When this option is not selected, no data is populated in the Shipment Mileage Log table. To set this value in a scenario, select the “Mileage Transactions” Simulation Options field and select "Yes" as the value.
- Handling Transactions – When this option is selected, the Shipment Handling Log output table is populated when Simulation is complete. When this option is not selected, no data is populated in the Shipment Handling Log table. To set this value in a scenario, select the “Handling Transactions” Simulation Options field and select "Yes" as the value.
- Ambush Transactions – When this option is selected, data generated based on ambush logic is populated when Simulation is complete. When this option is not selected, no ambush data is populated in the Simulation output tables. To set this value in a scenario, select the “Ambush Transactions” Simulation Options field and select "Yes" as the value.
- Production Process Transactions – When this option is selected, the Production Process Transactions output table is populated when Simulation is complete. When this option is not selected, no data is populated in the Production Process Transactions table. To set this value in a scenario, select the “Production Process Transactions” Simulation Options field and select "Yes" as the value.
Time Series Statistics
Time series statistics provide details about inventory value and units, order cycle time, back order units and other statistics for points in time throughout the simulation horizon. These time series statistics can be tracked throughout the simulation by selecting them on the Detailed Output tab in the Simulation options page. Note that the Time Series Statistics options are not selected by default.
To set this value in a scenario, select the appropriate “xx Time Stats” Simulation Options field and select "Yes" as the value.
