Defining schematics
Schematics are based on the paths populated by Cost To Serve Analysis. For each schematic, you select the values that identify the path..
Define a schematic
- Select Analyze > Schematics.
- Click New Schematic and edit the name as required. You see the schematic configuration form.
- Select the Schematics Source. This is one of:
- Cost To Serve Details
- Duty Rates
- Select values for the various filter criteria to identify the path to display. If your source is Cost To Serve Details:
- Scenario Name
- Customer Name
- Start Period
- End Period
- Finished Good
- Path ID
If your source is Duty Rate Details:
- Scenario Name
- Path Source
- Path Destination
- Product
- Path ID
- Click Apply. The schematic is displayed.
- Optionally, click Hide Filters to hide the criteria defining the path. You can click Show Filters to display the criteria.
When you hover over a link between nodes in the schematic, a tooltip is displayed with information represented by that link. For Cost To Serve Details, you see Lane ID, Mode, Start Location, End Location, Start Product, End Product, Total Cost and Total Quantity represented by that link. For Duty Rates, you see Lane ID, Start Location, End Location, Flow Unit, Duty Amount, Duty Rate, Duty Cost.
