Dashboards
Dashboards provide a way to assemble data - from high level to detailed views - in a single place for easy access and review. Dashboards can be customized to display any combination of tables, graphs, maps and views.
Adding and deleting dashboards

- Select Dashboards.
- Click New Dashboard. A new dashboard is created and opened. The default name is Dashboard (n), where n is an incrementing number.
- Edit the dashboard name as required using the
edit function. The dashboard is opened and the dashboard name is displayed at the top of the tab.

- Select Dashboards.
- Select the dashboard name or thumbnail in the navigation pane.
- Click Delete
. You are asked to confirm the deletion.
- Click Yes. The dashboard is deleted.

- Select Analyze > Dashboards.
- Select the dashboard name in the navigation pane.
- Click Copy
. The dashboard is copied with a default name of <DashboardName> (n), where n is an incrementing number.

- Click Edit
on the title bar of a definition item to change the Title for the item, then click Edit again to return to the data view.
- When you edit a map view on the dashboard, you have options to control the zoom and position of the map:
- Sync Dashboard – When Sync Dashboard is switched on, the zoom state and center point of all maps on the current dashboard are synchronized to be the same. When this option is switched off, the zoom state and center point of each map is independent. This does not affect the map widgets on other dashboards, nor does it affect regular Maps.
- Save Current Zoom and Position – Click this option to apply the current zoom and position to the map view.
- Apply Default – Click this option to return to the default zoom and position for the map view.
- When you edit a graph on the dashboard, you have options to control the labels and legend on the graph:
- Hide Labels – Click this option to hide the labels along the X-axis and Y-axis of the graph.
- Hide Legend – Click this option to hide the legend on the graph.
Searching dashboards
You can search within the list of dashboard names using the Dashboards filter. Start typing in the Dashboards filter. Dashboard names that contain the characters are displayed in the list box.
Wildcards are not required. Dashboards containing the search characters are displayed, regardless of where in the dashboard name the characters are located.

You can set the Dashboards navigation pane to show dashboard names or thumbnail views of the actual dashboards.
- Select Analyze > Dashboards.
- At the top of the Dashboards navigation pane, select one of:
- Standard – Dashboard names are listed in the navigation pane.
- Thumbnail – Thumbnail views of dashboards are listed in the navigation pane.
You can drag and drop the dashboard names or thumbnails to change the order in which they are displayed in the navigation pane.
