Cost To Serve Details
Internal Table Name: OptimizationOutputNetworkPathsDetails
The Cost To Serve Details table is populated when you run the Cost To Serve Analysis problem type. You can use Cost To Serve to review the landed cost of the overall flow of product from production to customer receipt for Network Optimization. The results are provided with the lane by lane flow per Customer-Product-Period.

Customer
Table: OptimizationOutputNetworkPathsDetails
Internal Name: CustomerName
The name of the customer being served on this network path. In some cases, the Customer column in the Cost To Serve Details table can be populated with Site names. If a Site is displayed in the Customer column, this is an indication that this Site had flow that never reached a Customer. This can occur if flow ends up as inventory instead of being shipped to the Customer. These types of paths are categorized as “Incomplete Paths” in the log file.

Internal Name: ProductName
The name of the product that the customer is served on this network path.
Total Quantity
Table: OptimizationOutputNetworkPathsDetails
Internal Name: TotalQuantity
The total quantity of product that moves on this lane.
For production involving Bills of Material, the end product quantity is equally distributed across the components. For instance, X units of component 1, Y units of component 2, and Z units of component 3 make 1 unit of the end product. In this case, the flow quantity assigned to each component is 1/3 unit.
Total Cost
Table: OptimizationOutputNetworkPathsDetails
Internal Name: TotalCost
The total cost incurred for this lane. In addition to the various cost categories, such as Production Cost, Transportation Cost and others, the Site Variable Cost from the Sites table is included in the Total Cost value.
Fixed Startup Cost
Table: OptimizationOutputNetworkPathsDetails
Internal Name: FixedStartupCost
The one-time cost incurred for starting operations at the location. This includes both site and work center costs.
Fixed Operating Cost
Table: OptimizationOutputNetworkPathsDetails
Internal Name: FixedOperatingCost
The cost incurred handling product at the location. This includes both site and work center costs.
Closing Cost
Table: OptimizationOutputNetworkPathsDetails
Internal Name: ClosingCost
The cost incurred when a location is closed. This includes both site and work center costs.
Site Variable Cost
Table: OptimizationOutputNetworkPathsDetails
Internal Name: SiteVariableCost
This is the cost incurred for throughput units at the site regardless of the product, based on the Site Variable Cost and Site Variable Cost Basis defined in the Sites table.
Space Expansion Cost
Table: OptimizationOutputNetworkPathsDetails
Internal Name: Space Expansion Cost
The cost incurred at the site when the floor area allocated for spaces is expanded.
Production Cost
Table: OptimizationOutputNetworkPathsDetails
Internal Name: ProductionCost
The cost incurred based on production.
Transportation Cost
Table: OptimizationOutputNetworkPathsDetails
Internal Name: TransportationCost
The cost of transporting product between the Start Location and the End Location.
Facility Inventory Holding Cost
Table: OptimizationOutputNetworkPathsDetails
Internal Name: FacilityInventoryHoldingCost
The inventory cost incurred for holding product at a site.
In-transit Inventory Holding Cost
Table: OptimizationOutputNetworkPathsDetails
Internal Name: IntransitInventoryHoldingCost
The inventory cost incurred for items in transit, based on the travel time and units of product.
Sourcing Cost
Table: OptimizationOutputNetworkPathsDetails
Internal Name: SourcingCost
The cost of sourcing products from facilities.
Inbound Warehousing Cost
Table: OptimizationOutputNetworkPathsDetails
Internal Name: InboundWarehousingCost
The cost of bringing units into facilities, from dock to stock, excluding transportation costs in the network.
Outbound Warehousing Cost
Table: OptimizationOutputNetworkPathsDetails
Internal Name: OutboundWarehousingCost
The cost of moving units out of facilities, from stock to dock, excluding transportation costs in the network.
Capital Investment
Table: OptimizationOutputNetworkPathsDetails
Internal Name: CapitalInvestment
The capital investment cost incurred for sites and work centers.
Facility CO2 Cost
Table: OptimizationOutputNetworkPathsDetails
Internal Name: FacilityCO2Cost
The total cost attributed to carbon emissions, based on the Carbon Cost from the Greenhouse Gases table, due to Production.
Transportation CO2 Cost
Table: OptimizationOutputNetworkPathsDetails
Internal Name: TransportationCO2Cost
The cost attributed to carbon emissions, based on the Carbon Cost from the Greenhouse Gases table, due to InterSite Flows and Customer Flows.
Work Resources Cost
