Business Hours
Internal Table Name: OpenHourLocation
You can optionally define the business hours per day per site, customer or transportation asset using this table. Business Hours act as constraints on when locations are open and assets are available. If you do not define Business Hours for days in the week, the location is considered open and the asset is available for that entire day.
Simulation: Not available in Classic Simulation.

Activity
Technology: S
Table: OpenHourLocation
Internal Name: Activity
Type: Short Text (32)
One of null, Load, Unload, Production
You can limit the business hours to a specific activity at a site. When the business hours for a site have no Activity selected, this determines when the site is open versus closed. You can also define a record where the Activity is "Load", indicating that these are the specific hours in which loading can occur at this site.
These activities can occur outside normal business hours, and you can use the Activity to model this behavior. For example, assume the business hours of the site are 08:00 to 15:00, but production does not need to be constrained by these general business hours. You create a record using these hours with no Activity selected to model the operational hours of the site. You then create a second record with hours from 12:00 to 17:00 where the Activity is "Production". The business hours of the activity act as the constraint on production, rather than the business hours of the site itself. In our example, if there are 10 units to produce and Unit Production Time is 1 hour with a Production Policies Schedule Rule of "RunUntilUnavailable", 5 units are produced on the first day and the remaining 5 are produced when the site next opens for production.
