Copying files
The File Copy
action allows you to copy one or more files from multiple locations to a single destination. Options can be configured to yield desired behavior for files and folders that may be missing upon execution.
On the Connections tab:

Enter a name and description.

Select the destination path for the copied files.

Select options for existing and non-existing files.

Click the Add Files icon to locate and add individual files to the copy list.

For files that cannot be selected using the browse and select method, enter the file path and click the Add icon.

Review the files to be copied. Click the Delete icon to remove files as needed from this list.
Possible applications include:
- Copy files from multiple locations and place them in your project input files folder.
- Copy files from the output of your workflow to another location.
- If one of the defined files does not exist, error the action to halt a workflow.
Copy Files
- Drag the File Copy icon onto the design surface.

On the Configuration tab
, enter a Name and a Description to identify this action, then specify a target and configuration options:- For Destination Path, enter or select the folder to which the file(s) will be copied.
- Click Files to Copy icon
to browse for and select a file to copy. You can use the Ctrl key to select multiple files at one time. - Click the Add icon
to add a file to the Files to Copy list that cannot be selected by the “browse and select” method. - Select Create missing destination folder to automatically create the destination folder you have specified, if it does not already exist.
- Select Overwrite existing files to copy over any file names with the same name.
- Select the Warn or Error options to indicate what happens when any of the selected files cannot be copied. Warnings appear in the output, while errors prevent the action from executing.
