Exporting model groups to the Supply Chain platform

Exporting model groups to the Supply Chain platform

The Platform Model Group Export action allows you export and upload a single group or all groups from a local database table to a Supply Chain Guru model on the Supply Chain platform. Before using this action, you must create a Supply Chain Guru Cloud connection of type Coupa Supply Chain.

The input table must include the group Name, the TableName to which the group applies and one or more Member values. See Supported TableName values for the list of tables that support groups.
Groups names should contain only alphanumeric characters, spaces, periods (.), hyphens (-) or underscores(_). The name should not begin with a space, a period, a hyphen or an underscore.
This action creates new groups and populates them with associated members, adds members to or removes records from existing groups.
This action does not delete existing groups.

For example, if you are exporting all groups:

Enter a name and description.
Select or create input connection and select table for export.
Specify connection to Supply Chain platform and select group option.
Select platform model.

The most common application is to upload data from a local database to initialize or refresh your data on Supply Chain.

Supported TableName values

The table below lists the tables that support group definitions. These are the values that are valid for the TableName column when exporting model groups to the platform. If the TableName is not valid, the group will not be displayed in Modeler:
